so here is a bigger and better pic of me in the middle of the battle at Conquest of Mythodea. Leather armour, headgear, "shades" and some other things were made by me, the red clothing was made by Sarah (friend of mine), picture was shot by "zeitreisealbum.de" - thnx to all.
Pic was slightly modified with photoshop
Great costume and attitude!
Yet I wonder, how could you see?!
My bf came home from the Conquest absolutely, totally enthusiast! I wonder if you saw him... he was a blackish and not very tall ork, with an armour made of rough cloth, furs and bones, and with long black dreadlocks.
Hmmmm.... check larpbilder.de [www.larpbilder.de] for the photos. I saw really really many orcs in black with fur and bones - and we had some orcs in the dungeon as well. Some of them were really funny! The tried to acess our part of the dungeon, stood inf ront of our gate and sang "New Orc, New Orc" and "In the dungeon, the mighty dungeon, the drow do sleep tonight"
That was most awsome (but these orcs came mostly from belgium, france and switzerland).
And the orc army on thursday....
...well, lets say they now show decent respect to drow! They tried to demolish our gate with exploding-gobblins, but the gobblins blastet themself i the middle of the "army" So we stormed out of the gate and then... We slashed them, burned them, and hunted them down - and when the few left saw they couldnt escape they dropped their weapons and screamed "Misunderstanding! MISUNDERSTANDING!!".
That was soooo much fun!
Too bad I havent found photos of me stroll in the middle of the town at bright daylight. You can't imagine the look of some humans when they saw me walk down the streets - and now one had the guts to attack me
By the way - that's the reason for the mask - I made it, so my drow char is not blinded by daylight (the small slit in the middle gives me a good sight and the fabric behind it prevents me getting blinded as well).

Ehhh, I admit that if I knew at least a bit of German, it could be easier... from that link I get to a forum, but where do I go from there?
I think my BF-orc came into the dungeon at least once, but I don't know what he and the others orcs did.
Anyway, you really sound so enthusiastic, I'm happy for you and who knows, maybe another year I could muse about coming there myself!
...and be sure, I'd play a drow, not an orc!!
Hehehe... then I would say come and play!
I make sure you are welcome at Qu'ellar Aleanvirr.

If I decide to come to the Conquest, be sure I'll let you know in good advance!
Following that link I get only to the photogallery of a girl named Laura.
May it be that I should be subscribed, to see more?
Anyway, I searched among her pics, but I couldn't find "my" orc... yet, I saw a lot of gorgeous costumes!
if you don't get to the gallery at once, you might have to follow another link on the page, but I think those links will lead you to gorgeous photos of Mythodea... Have fun!
[Some links have a attached - that is a fault of this site because it puts smileys in it - see if the links still work!]

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Thank you soooo much, you really enthralled me into coming to the Conquest, if not the next year, the following.
